PERSOALAN PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI SEKOLAH

In Indonesia most of mathematics teachers still use traditional methods of learning mathematics, such as the learning of mathematics with rely on a single method with the learning content in the form explain, give examples, ask questions and give the task in the classical style. With this method the teacher of mathematics feel difficult.
So then conducted research through a cycle of actions and activities of diagnosis, the rapeutic and improvements aimed at developing learning mathematical methods that can meet the needs or demands of various academic demands of students, improving learning achievement, encouraging students to actively learn, develop props and encourage cooperation. This action research to limit the scope of teachers  teaching style that is reflected by the learning model developed in a particular class at a specified time period as well.
Thus the learning context that is fixed is the classroom, students and teachers themselves. While the learning context that is changing is the model of learning, teaching styles and learning other aspects including materials, teaching resources, the implementation time of learning. At the moment there is a learning model initial conditions such as expositions, and problem solving exercises. Then, after extensive research activities, there will be action learning model in the form of exposition, exercise, problem solving, discussion, investigation, and props.
The teacher’s in exertion meet the various demands of academic students may be done by developing the student’s worksheets, the formation of study groups, the development of a class or group discussion method, as well as the development of teaching aids and educational media. In an effort to develop a model of teacher learning can be summed up in general, teachers have sought to develop learning methods in accordance with the purpose of action research.
However, teachers experienced technical difficulties, academic and  fundamentals. Technical difficulties of teachers in developing teaching methods that is the unavailability of equipment or facilities required learning. Academic difficulties of teachers in developing teaching methods are not yet perceived incompatibility of the teacher’s mathematical learning model with the meaning of the learning model used in accordance with the theory.
Teachers can develop methods to plan the learning environment of learning mathematics, mathematics to plan activities, develop the role of teacher, set the time to who and when doing math activities together or not with students, observe student’s activities, evaluate yourself, evaluate results and monitor student progress.
Meanwhile, to support teachers in developing teaching methods, Principals should create a conducive atmosphere so that teachers can develop their creativity in developing learning models, changing the role of Principal of the oversight function to the service functions and cooperation, encourage teachers and students to be independent and develop the ethics and mutual respect, give opportunities for teachers to revise curriculum or syllabus, cooperating with other educational institutions  to obtain insights about the need for innovation of mathematics education, and  try completeness of equipment and educational facilities.
